Alycia Debnam-Carey has starred in TV shows like Fear the Walking Dead. When she was just 8 years old she began acting at the age of 8 in Sydney, Australia. Martha s New Coat was the first short film she was a part in. She made her TV debut in an episode in the TV show McLeod s Daughter. Her first big role was a recurring character on the sci fi television series The 100. The show is based off The 100 novel. The character she played was Commander Lexa who was an imposing commander for 12 clans. On Fear the Walking Dead she was a strong leader of twelve clans. This show has been hailed by critics and receiving multiple accolades. Jigsaw Girl as well as The Branch are two other short films in which she has appeared. Her first film role was as a lead in the found-footage disaster movie Into the Storm. The film was an enormous commercial hit, but the reviews generally were negative.
